Reservists of "BARS-NN" were awarded on Russia Day.

      On June 12, on Russia Day, a ceremony was held to award reservists of the mobilization reserve BARS-NN who distinguished themselves during combat duty in the Nizhny Novgorod region. For successfully completing tasks to protect the region (including repelling attacks from enemy UAVs on critically important facilities), territorial defenders were presented with letters of gratitude from the governor and commemorative gifts. The solemn ceremony took place in field conditions — at combat positions during duty. Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Vladimir Tuzhilin noted: There is no doubt that the residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region are under the protection of true patriots. Our regional unit BARS-NN stands at the borders, which we highly value. A machine gunner from the mobile fire group with the call sign Ataman said: I participated in repelling two UAVs flying towards our enterprise. Thanks to the vigilance and sharpness of our fighters, we determined the direction and shot down the drones. We coped with the assigned tasks.
