      The head coach of the football club "Pari Nizhny Novgorod," Vadim Garanin, assessed the condition of the players after returning from vacation and also spoke about plans for the 2026/2027 season. This was reported by the team's press service.

      Recall that the club's management extended the contract with the 55-year-old specialist until the end of the next season.

      According to Garanin, the players returned to training in good shape, although the adaptation to the workload varies for everyone. He noted that the main task at the start of the preparation is not physical fitness, but psychological recovery.

      "Our main task now is to mentally reboot. Because, of course, it is hard to experience relegation from the RPL. It is difficult for me, even though I was appointed 'head coach' only three weeks before the end of the championship. It is a heavy blow. Especially for the experienced guys who have played a lot in Nizhny Novgorod. Yes, it is a heavy burden that we need to shed. Forget the past and correct the situation," the coach emphasized.

      In response to a question about how the team will cope with the consequences of relegation, the specialist focused on the training process. In his opinion, only systematic work will help restore confidence.

      "Training, training, training, and once again training. If you 'dwell' for too long, it is a path to nowhere. I am in no way saying that all the guys at the training camp walk around with their heads down. No, but it is necessary to consider the 'factor of last season' at the first training camp, in the first training sessions," he stressed.

      Garanin also expressed his views on the principles on which the team's play will be built in the new season. According to him, loud statements are unnecessary here—it's about creating a strong collective capable of acting equally well both with and without the ball. He identified physical readiness as an important factor, emphasizing that without it, achieving results in any championship is impossible.

      Recall that as a result of last season, "Pari NN" left the Russian Premier League. The new season will be held in the FNL, with the start of the championship scheduled for mid-July.
