Nizhny Novgorod residents have been warned about an upcoming prolonged magnetic storm.

      On June 13, 2026, at 11:40, Nizhny Novgorod will be under the influence of a prolonged magnetic storm, which will last from June 21 to June 28. This is reported by the website my-calend.ru.

      In the evening of June 20, a weak geomagnetic storm, rated at three points, will begin. It will last until the evening of June 22, after which it will change to a minor geomagnetic storm.

      According to forecasts, the storm will start to weaken only by the evening of June 27. The next day, geomagnetic activity will again be weak.

      Experts warn that the phenomenon may cause weakness, drowsiness, and headaches.
