How will Nizhny Novgorod transport operate on Russia Day?

      On June 11, 2026, at 11:12 AM Society On June 12, public transport in Nizhny Novgorod will be enhanced in connection with the celebration of Russia Day and the holding of mass events.       Buses

      In the evening of June 12, additional buses and electric buses will be deployed on the lines. The enhancement will affect routes No. 1, 2, 7, 12, 13, 22, 26, 29, 38, 41, 43, 45, 68, 70, 72, 87, 90, 95, 97, 130, and 238, as well as electric buses No. 13 and 31.

      Additionally, since the beginning of June, night buses No. 150, 160, 180, and 190 have been operating in the city. They run from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM through the central part of the city and towards popular recreation areas.       Suburban Trains

      Changes will also affect suburban trains. On June 11, suburban trains will operate according to the Friday schedule, and on June 12 and 13, according to the Saturday schedule. On June 14, the schedule will return to normal, Sunday hours.

      Additionally, extra trips have been scheduled on the routes Nizhny Novgorod - Tarasikha - Nizhny Novgorod and Nizhny Novgorod - Uren - Nizhny Novgorod. Trains heading towards Nizhny Novgorod - Frolishi will continue to operate at their usual frequency without considering the transfer of weekends.

      Cable Car

      The operation of the cable car "Nizhny Novgorod - Bor" will also be adjusted. On June 12, the crossing will be open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. On June 13, the operating hours will be extended from 6:45 AM to 10:00 PM. On June 14, the cable car will again accept passengers from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

      Metro

      The metro will also extend its hours on the June weekends, but this is related to the concert of the group "Ruki Vverh!" (12+) at Strelka. On the night of June 13 to 14, trains will run until 12:30 AM.

      From 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the intervals will be seven minutes, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM - five minutes. After the concert ends, from 10:30 PM to 11:59 PM, trains will arrive every five minutes, and from 12:01 AM to 12:30 AM - every ten minutes.
