A Nizhny Novgorod graduate was removed from the Unified State Exam in social studies due to a cheat sheet.
On June 11, 2026, at 17:18 Society On June 11, eleventh-graders in the Nizhny Novgorod region took the Unified State Exam (USE) in social studies and physics. A total of 75 exam centers were organized in the region for the exams. Social studies traditionally ranks among the most sought-after elective subjects. This year, 5,625 people took the exam. Physics also shows a steady increase in interest among graduates. Over the past few years, the number of students choosing this subject has been rising. In the current campaign, 2,719 people took the physics exam. As reported by the Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Mikhail Puchkov, on his MAX channel, the exams were conducted in a standard mode. However, it was not possible to avoid violations entirely. Eleventh-graders were unable to replicate the zero removal rate achieved by ninth-graders on one of the days of the exam campaign. One participant was removed from the social studies exam due to a cheat sheet found with the graduate during the test. It was previously reported that three graduates were removed from the USE in mathematics in the Nizhny Novgorod region for cheat sheets. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
