Evgeny Lyulin was awarded for his contributions to the development of parliamentarism.

      On June 10, 2026, at the 80th anniversary meeting of the Council of Legislators of the Volga Federal District, the chairman of the Council of Legislators of the PFO, speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin, was awarded the honorary badge of the Federation Council "For Merits in the Development of Parliamentarism."

      Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev noted Evgeny Lyulin's significant personal contribution to strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, developing legislation, and improving the system of interaction between legislative authorities in the regions of the Volga Federal District. The honorary badge "For Merits in the Development of Parliamentarism" is the highest award of the Federation Council and is awarded for special achievements in legislative and parliamentary activities.

      Evgeny Lyulin thanked for the high assessment of his work and emphasized that the award recognized the merits of the entire team of legislators from the Volga region. According to him, over 24 years, the Council of Legislators of the PFO has come a long way and is now rightly considered one of the most authoritative inter-parliamentary platforms in the country.

      "We have united our efforts to study the experience of the regions and represent our interests at the federal level. Today, the initiatives of the legislators of the PFO are becoming federal laws, our voice is heard, and our opinion is taken into account. And this award is recognition not of my personal merits, but of the collective work of all my colleagues from the regions of the Volga. Thank you for your trust and support," noted the chairman of the Council of Legislators of the PFO, speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Evgeny Lyulin.
