A permit has been issued for the construction of a liquid waste reception point in Sormovo.

      On June 9, 2026, at 18:28, the Ministry of Construction issued a permit to Aquatech Ecology JSC for the construction of a liquid household waste reception point in the Sormovsky district. Relevant information has been published in the documents on the agency's website.

      The new facility is planned to be built in the area of KIM Street, 339A and Yasnaya Street.

      It should be noted that the company also intends to implement a similar project in the Kanavinsky district - on Metallistov Street. The city administration plans to expand the network of waste reception points; an agreement has previously been reached on the implementation of 12 investment projects.

      Currently, there is officially only one drainage station operating in the city - KNS No. 12A on Krasny Partizan Street, 16B. It is managed by Teploenergo JSC and accepts waste from cesspools and sumps for free. All other waste disposal sites are considered unauthorized.

      Additionally, it was noted that unauthorized discharge of sewage by "black" cesspool trucks was cited last year as one of the reasons for the unpleasant odor that periodically enveloped the city.
