T2 added the internet to the map of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On June 9, 2026, at 16:03, T2, a Russian mobile operator, opened free Wi-Fi hotspots in its stores across the Nizhny Novgorod region. Visitors to 25 of the operator's retail locations can take advantage of this service. Thanks to internet access, residents of Nizhny Novgorod will remain connected even during forced restrictions.

      T2 provides its retail locations in the Nizhny Novgorod region with a stable Wi-Fi network, allowing visitors to use any internet services, including those not included in the white lists. The service is available in 25 T2 stores throughout the region, including major cities such as Nizhny Novgorod, Vyksa, Dzerzhinsk, Kstovo, as well as some district centers in the region.

After that, the subscriber can comfortably use banking applications, work with email, communicate in messengers, and much more. Technically, the project meets all cybersecurity requirements, and user traffic is reliably encrypted. The service is available to customers of any mobile operator.
