The streets of the SEZ "Kulibin" in Dzerzhinsk have been named.

      By the decree of the administration of the city of Dzerzhinsk, five streets in the state area of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Kulibin" have been named: Instrumental, Polymer, Titanium, Pipe, and Paper. For example, the production of hard alloy metal-cutting tools "Axis" is located on Instrumental Street, while the construction of a pipeline systems production by LLC NPP "Modern Pipeline Systems" is planned on Pipe Street. "The state area occupies more than 416 hectares, which constitutes a large part of the Dzerzhinsk section of the SEZ 'Kulibin'. Assigning names to the streets makes this area more comfortable for visitors," noted the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Yegor Polyakov. The managing company of the SEZ "Kulibin" is the Corporation for Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. "Infrastructure creation is actively underway in the state area of the special economic zone, and the territory is transforming every day. The names not only simplify navigation around the area but also carry symbolic significance—street names reflect some of the main areas of activity of our residents," said the General Director of the Corporation for Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Igor Ishchenko. In turn, the head of the city of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov, noted that the emergence of its own streets is an important step in the development of the SEZ "Kulibin." "We see how year after year a powerful infrastructure is being created in the territory of the SEZ, new residents are starting to work, and I am confident that this is just the beginning of a long journey towards further development of our city," he emphasized. It is worth noting that today the Dzerzhinsk section of the SEZ "Kulibin" occupies an area of 724.7 hectares and includes the state area (416.7 hectares), as well as private areas: DPO "Plastic," "Oka-Polymer," and "Synthesis OKA." The private areas are already equipped with ready infrastructure. In November 2025, the Government of Russia signed a decree to expand the territory of the SEZ by another 117.7 hectares due to the area located in the municipal formation of the city of Bor. The total area of the SEZ "Kulibin" is 842.4 hectares.

      Starting from 2025, "Increasing Investment Activity" is one of the federal projects of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," implemented by the order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The task of the federal project is to ensure that the conditions for doing business are clear, risks are distributed between the state and investors, and systematic support measures are provided to increase the share of investments in GRP.
