A humanitarian cargo has been sent from the Nizhny Novgorod region to the special military operation zone.

      In the run-up to Russia Day, a new batch of humanitarian aid for military personnel has been sent from the Nizhny Novgorod region to the special military operation zone. The cargo was formed based on requests from military units, taking into account their needs for carrying out combat tasks, ensuring security, and organizing field life. The delivery will be carried out by a team from the coordination center for supporting military personnel, operating at the House of National Unity. The cargo includes FPV drones, radios, thermal imaging sights, quadcopters, generators, construction materials, and tools. Seven swamp vehicles and camouflage nets from volunteers are also being sent. As reported by the head of the coordination center, Tatyana Druzhinina, the cargo will be delivered to military units where Nizhny Novgorod residents serve by Russia Day. Soldiers from military units in the Nizhny Novgorod region participated in the shipment. A soldier with the call sign "Sapyor" noted that support from the home region strengthens morale. The humanitarian aid is intended for 16 military units located in the Belgorod, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics. Part of the cargo will be transferred to a military hospital. In total, the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, together with the House of National Unity, has sent more than 790 humanitarian convoys to the special military operation zone. According to the organizers, over 5,200 tons of humanitarian cargo and more than 340 vehicles have been delivered to military personnel. The coordination center for supporting mobilized military personnel and their families was established in October 2022 at the House of National Unity as part of an interagency cooperation scheme. The center brings together various agencies, institutions, large enterprises, the business community, public organizations, and volunteer groups.
