The sales launch of the revived Volga brand cars will take place on June 19.

This was reported to "RG" by the brand head, Tatyana Fadeeva, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026. The launch of new cars into the market will take place on June 19. According to Fadeeva, the company will focus primarily on large regional centers and million-plus cities. At the same time, the dealer network is developing at an active pace - it is planned that by the end of this year, about 130 partners will join the brand in "key" cities of Russia, half of which have already been selected and are in the launch stage.

      In addition, the top manager reported how many cars the company plans to sell by the end of 2026. According to the production plan - approximately 30 thousand cars. About 1,500 units have already rolled off the assembly line, and the plant is operating at full first shift capacity.

      We set ourselves extremely clear goals. I am confident that by the end of the year we will meet this volume, - emphasized Tatyana Fadeeva.

      The expert also mentioned that car sales are expected to be at the level of 25-27 thousand units, provided that some cars will be in stock with dealers across the country. When asked about the production of special versions for taxis and corporate fleets, Tatyana Fadeeva responded negatively, but expressed confidence that the new cars will take a worthy place in these market segments.
