The Nizhny Novgorod company will pay over 1.3 million rubles to a dismissed employee.

      On June 7, 2026, 14:12 Society awarded more than 1.3 million rubles to a female employee for unpaid wages. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court.

      The woman worked at LLC SK "Capital of the Volga" from December 2020 to April 2025, when her employment contract was terminated due to a reduction in the number of employees or staff of the organization (clause 2 part 1 article 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

      During the proceedings, it was revealed that from November 2024 to April 2025, the woman was not fully paid her salary. On the day of dismissal, the final settlement was not made. The total amount of debt amounted to more than 938 thousand rubles.

      The Kstovo City Court considered the case in the absence of the defendant's representative and satisfied it by default. The company was ordered to pay 938,769 rubles and 92 kopecks in wage arrears, as well as 394,565 rubles in compensation for late payment.

      The court's decision has not yet come into legal force.
