The relevant information was provided by the press service of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the results of laboratory tests, the water quality meets sanitary and hygienic requirements in the following water bodies: Lake PKiO 2 Queue (Mолодежный Avenue, Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Lake PKiO 2 Queue (Smirnova Street, Avtozavodsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Silicate Lake, both beaches (Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Svetloyarskoye Lake, both beaches (Sormovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Lunskoye Lake (Sormovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Pestichnoye Lake (Sormovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Sorting Lake, both beaches (Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Hospital Lake (Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod); Yurasovskoye Lake (Bor); Holy Lake (Dzerzhinsk). "When choosing a place to relax, it is necessary to pay attention to the beach's amenities: the presence of trash bins, benches, shaded areas, changing cabins, cleaning schedules, and an organized rescue point. Public toilets should be located near the beach," the message states. When going to the beach, do not forget to take a headwear, drinking water, a towel, and an umbrella. It is better to sunbathe under an umbrella in the morning or afternoon hours. Drinking water from the water body, washing vegetables, dishes, or rinsing your mouth in it is strictly prohibited. It is necessary to avoid consuming alcoholic beverages; swimming while intoxicated is prohibited. It is not recommended to relax and swim with pets on the beaches. Do not throw or leave trash behind. Dispose of it in designated areas. Swim only in specially equipped and permitted places. When swimming, do not allow water to enter your mouth. If this happens, carefully monitor your health. If your condition worsens, seek medical attention. If water enters your mouth, it is important to rinse your mouth immediately with bottled water to reduce the risk of infection.
