VTB allocated 760 million rubles for the restoration of five cultural heritage sites.

On June 4, 2026, at 10:12, Culture and Leisure VTB will finance the restoration of five cultural heritage sites in the regions of Russia, allocating 760 million rubles for this purpose as part of a joint program with the development institute DOM.RF. This was announced by board member of the bank Ruslan Yeremenko at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026).

The largest of the announced projects is the reconstruction of the federal cultural heritage site "Golovin's Dacha" in St. Petersburg. The building area is 802 square meters. In Kostroma, the bank is participating in the restoration of a residential building from the late 19th century, located in the historical part of the city: after the work is completed, administrative staff for a medical clinic will be located there. Another project will be implemented in Irkutsk.

The program for the restoration of architectural monuments was launched by DOM.RF to return buildings in unsatisfactory condition to economic circulation. VTB is one of the largest banking partners of the initiative. According to Yeremenko, participation in the project is part of the bank's systematic work to support cultural institutions and entrepreneurs who take on commitments to preserve architectural heritage.

Credit funds are provided on preferential terms and are intended for the development of project documentation, carrying out restoration work, and subsequent adaptation of historical buildings for modern use. Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who have rights to the objects included in the state register of monuments can be recipients of financing.

It should be noted that VTB previously provided funds for the restoration of two sites in the Pskov and Nizhny Novgorod regions. The total amount of financing was 350 million rubles with the involvement of guarantees from the SME Corporation.

In Pskov, the investor LLC "Augustina" plans to restore a residential building built in 1950. The project includes preserving architectural characteristics as well as creating commercial premises on the ground floor. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, individual entrepreneur R.N. Frolov received funding for the restoration of the "Hunting Lodge (Manor)" from the 18th century, located on the banks of the Oka River. The site will be used as a hotel and a therapeutic sanatorium, expanding the opportunities for the region's tourist and recreational infrastructure.
