The authorities will meet with the residents of the house on Rodionova after complaints about parking.

      On June 4, 2026, at 10:22 AM, the Administration of the Nizhny Novgorod District will hold a meeting with the residents of house No. 11 on Rodionova Street, who previously complained about the acute shortage of parking spaces and threatened to hold a picket. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" in the press service of the mayor's office in response to a request.

      Let us remind you that the residents of the house stated that more than 400 people live in 254 apartments, while about 20 parking spaces are provided in the yard. According to the residents of Nizhny Novgorod, after the construction of the metro began, they lost the ability to use parking pockets along the bypass road of Rodionova Street, and cars left in unauthorized places began to receive fines.

      The administration of the Nizhny Novgorod District reported that control over the placement of vehicles on lawns and green areas is being conducted in all city districts using the automatic complex "Dozor M-3". Authorities reminded that such parking is a violation of Article 3.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      At the same time, the district administration noted that the residents of the house have their own parking lot with a barrier. Violations of parking rules near the house were recorded even before the construction of the metro began.

      "Given the current situation, the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod District will hold meetings with local residents to discuss the issue of alternative parking spaces," the officials' response stated.

      For their part, the MKU "GUMMiD" explained that work on the construction of new metro stations continues on Rodionova Street. Currently, the reconstruction of underground communications and the development of a pit for the construction of turnaround dead ends behind the "Sennaya" station is underway.

      To organize traffic in the construction site area, a temporary bypass road was opened in 2025. The traffic organization project was coordinated by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the city transport department, MKU "GUMMiD," and the Main State Expert Review of Russia.

      According to the institution, due to the limited space of the construction site and the need to ensure two-way traffic on the temporary road, the organization of parking spaces during the construction period is not provided.

      Currently, the installation of protective structures for the pit is ongoing at Sennaya Square and the site of the future turnaround dead ends. Additionally, the relocation of sewage and water supply networks is underway on Rodionova Street, the relocation of electrical cables has been completed, and temporary landscaping of the area has been carried out. Furthermore, specialists are preparing for the reconstruction of communications near house No. 1 on Raduzhnaya Street for the construction of an exit from the vestibule of the "Sennaya" station.

      After the construction of the metro dead ends near house No. 11 on Rodionova Street is completed, it is planned to organize 38 parking spaces. There were 25 such spaces before the start of the work. In total, after the landscaping of the area and the restoration of the previous traffic scheme in the area, 83 parking spaces should appear.
