The application deadline for the "Know Our Own" competition has been extended to June 15.
June 4, 2026 11:44 Society Applications for the competition of growing Russian brands "Know Our Own" (18+) can be submitted until June 15. This season, the competition includes more than 30 nominations across five categories: food products, health and sports goods, creative industries, consumer brands, and technologies. A separate track is dedicated to technology companies—from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to unmanned systems and the energy of the future. The organizers are the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of VEB.RF. The Chief Strategist of VEB.RF and Deputy Director of the "New Business" direction at ASI, Mikhail Khomich, noted that the competition is aimed at entrepreneurs who have already brought a product to market and are ready for scaling. According to him, participation allows for faster interaction with partners, among which there are about 60 organizations—from online platforms and retail chains to development institutions and large companies. Applications are accepted on the portal znaynashih.asi.rf. More than 16,000 applications have already been received from 86 regions of the Russian Federation. The most popular nominations have been "Ready and Functional Food," "Industrial Technologies," and "Farm Products." The leaders in the number of applications are Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and Nizhny Novgorod Region. Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses are invited to participate. Winners will receive support in promotion, access to educational programs, new sales channels, and participation in business events. The expertise will take place in several stages, and the awards ceremony will be held in July. The competition has been held since 2023 by the order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and is aimed at supporting growing domestic brands. Over three seasons, 31,000 companies have participated. In addition, until June 15, ASI is accepting applications for the "New National Brand" accelerator—an educational program for young designers, authors, and specialized companies.
