The purchase of a ticket for the electric train will cost Nizhny Novgorod residents more starting June 8.

      June 3, 2026 13:39 Society From June 8, an additional fee for ticket purchases directly on suburban trains in Nizhny Novgorod will come into effect. The fee will amount to 50 rubles, as reported by the press service of JSC "VVPPK". This surcharge will only apply to passengers who board at stations with operating ticket offices but purchase their tickets during the trip from the conductor. If the ticket is purchased in advance—at the ticket office or through the app—the additional fee will not be charged.
