The state of increased readiness due to flooding has been lifted in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      June 1, 2026 17:52 Society The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region has signed a decree lifting the state of increased readiness, previously introduced due to the threat of flooding. The document is published on the official website for the publication of regulatory acts. The decree notes that the decision was made in connection with the elimination of the risk of flooding in populated areas, as well as social, economic, and transportation infrastructure facilities. The regime is officially canceled as of June 1. It had been in effect since April 1.
