A father of many children from Nizhny Novgorod achieved a review of the refusal for a mortgage subsidy.

      May 29, 2026 17:25 Society The Ministry of Social Development and Family Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has been ordered to reconsider the application and the submitted documents for reimbursement of part of the interest rate on a mortgage loan. This was reported by the unified press service of the courts of general jurisdiction in the region. The father of a large family filed a lawsuit against the ministry, as well as against two social protection departments in the city of Chkalovsk and the Moscow district. The man and his wife purchased an apartment with the intention of participating in the federal program "Family Mortgage." According to its terms, the maximum amount of support, that is, six million rubles in credit, was issued at 6% per annum, while the remaining amount was at 20%. To obtain additional regional benefits, the man submitted a set of documents to the relevant ministry. However, he was denied inclusion in the list of support recipients due to the lack of a detailed payment schedule for the loan. The Nizhny Novgorod resident was unable to obtain the document from the bank immediately. After a complaint to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the payment schedule was provided, and the man reapplied to the social protection authorities. Nevertheless, he was again denied the benefit, citing a missed deadline for the application. On May 27, the claims were partially satisfied. The Ministry of Social Policy has been tasked with reconsidering the documents of the large family father. The court's decision has not yet entered into legal force.
