      On May 29, 2026, at 15:40, Incidents: A 52-year-old plumber from Nizhny Novgorod State University named after N.I. Lobachevsky passed away. This was reported by the State Labor Inspection for the region. The tragedy occurred on May 27. Around 11:45, during a lunch break in the locker room of the repair and construction department, a worker in the complex repair and maintenance of buildings of the 2nd category noticed that his colleague—a 4th category plumber—felt unwell and began to lose consciousness. The employee immediately called an ambulance and informed the direct supervisor of the injured party. The arriving medics began to provide assistance. About 15 minutes later, the man's condition sharply deteriorated. A resuscitation team was called to the scene, which upon arrival confirmed the worker's death.
