This was stated by Elena Titova, director of the "Privolzhye" group of companies, at a real estate forum, as reported by a correspondent from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." According to Titova, a significant share of transactions is already being formed by young clients. According to CIAN data, in 2025, 25% of buyers will be people aged 25-30. Soon, the youngest representatives of Generation Z will enter the market, as they will be 18-20 years old. The main difference in this audience is their different attitude towards ownership. The classic model of property rights includes three elements: possession, use, and disposal. However, according to Titova, Generation Z places less value on the mere fact of owning a home. In the long run, this will lead to an increase in rental transactions: if a person does not want to be tied to a location, they choose to rent. This means that developers will either have to redefine the attractiveness of ownership or focus on the convenience of use and flexibility of disposal. At the same time, the older generation, as the expert noted, will remain the most affluent group of buyers. The question is how to teach them to invest effectively in real estate. Titova emphasized that it is already important for builders to consider changes in the target audience during long-term planning, including developing service housing formats and commercial spaces.
