Nizhny Novgorod residents sent 10 tons of aid to Dagestan.

      The second batch of humanitarian aid for the residents of Dagestan affected by the flooding has been sent from Nizhny Novgorod. The organizers were the regional public organization "Dagestan Community" and "Volunteers of Victory" from the Nizhny Novgorod region, with the participation of local public figures and entrepreneurs. At the end of April, about 20 tons of aid were delivered to the most affected settlements in Dagestan from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The formation of the new batch also involved the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Public Self-Government of Nizhny Novgorod," the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Mercy," the Regional Public Organization "Care," the unified patriotic center "Avangard," and the charitable foundation "Children without Mothers." The chairman of the regional public organization "Dagestan Community," Abdula Ibragimov, thanked partners and volunteers for their participation in collecting and sending the humanitarian cargo. The aid included drinking water, cereals, canned goods, sweets, porridge, tea, coffee, as well as toys, personal hygiene products, stationery, household items, clothing, laundry detergents, and soap.

      Maria Samodelkina, the head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Public Movement "Volunteers of Victory," noted that the cargo was formed to support the residents of Dagestan and sent to the areas affected by the disaster.
