Almost 1660 km of utility networks have been updated in the Volga Federal District since 2022.

      May 22, 2026 11:55 Society Since 2022, approximately 1660 km of utility networks have been replaced in the Volga Federal District, reported the Territorial Development Fund. The modernization work was carried out with the involvement of preferential loans funded by the National Wealth Fund of Russia and subsidies from the federal budget. According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, under two programs, work has been completed on 982 utility facilities in the Volga Federal District since 2022, including about 1660 km of engineering networks. The largest volume of upgrades occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where 356 km of networks were modernized. In the Republic of Bashkortostan, 269 km were replaced, and in the Samara region, 201.5 km.
