The former head of the Audit Chamber appealed to the court demanding to recognize the decisions of the municipal parliament and the commission for monitoring compliance with anti-corruption restrictions for municipal employees as invalid. Recall that Abyzova headed the Audit Chamber since 2021. The basis for the early termination of her powers was the prosecutor's office's submission, which identified violations of anti-corruption legislation. According to the supervisory authority, the official owned several apartments that were converted into non-residential premises and rented out.
