This was reported on social media by representatives of the ANO "ASIRIS." Despite being built in different years, together the buildings represent a unified ensemble of the Gostiny Dvor street, which in turn is a monument of cultural heritage, architecture, and urban planning of regional significance. The "Podsozov Hotel" is located at: 30 Gostiny Dvor Street. In 1823, the second guild merchants, the Podsozov brothers, added a story to the stone house above the second floor. On December 31 of the following year, a hotel opened here. Thirty years after the merchants' ruin, the building was handed over to the Arzamas Orphan Court, in the 1860s to the Gorky Aviation Technical School named after Baranov, and in 1920 to the cadets of the agitation courses of the Political Education Department. At the same address is the "City Duma and Administration," built in the third quarter of the 19th century. In 1895, this building also belonged to the Arzamas Orphan Court. The premises on the first floor were offered for rent - there were a pawnshop, meat, and leather shops. On the second floor were the Vladimir and Christmas schools, as well as the city bank. Another element of the complex is the "Labaz" of Munin at 15A Lenin Street. The premises for the sale and storage of goods were the latest in terms of construction period - the building completed the ensemble of Gostiny Dvor in 1923. After the Civil War, the Arzamas County Military Commissariat operated in the "Labaz." The starting price for the lot of three buildings with a total area of 3,197.6 square meters is 33,982,000 rubles. Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until June 8, and the auction itself will take place on June 10. What will open in the historic buildings will be decided by the new owner. Earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, noted that the architecture and layout of the buildings in the complex would be ideal for creating a modern hotel complex, boutique hotel, cozy restaurant, cafe, or public space.
