The partnership, in particular, involves the training of IT personnel. The document was signed by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party Gleb Nikitin, and Director of JSC "1C Group" Boris Nuraliev during the conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" ("CIPR") on May 18, 2026. Currently, large centralized projects in the field of public administration have been implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod Region based on "1C" technologies. For example, this includes the information system "Unified Aggregator of Physical Culture and Sports Organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region," which has made sports services more accessible to residents. With the help of the platform, they find the necessary sports facilities, purchase subscriptions, submit applications for discounted visits, and the sports institutions themselves use the aggregator as a unified workspace that allows them to keep records, track attendance, and perform other tasks. Almost 80 sports facilities in the region are already connected to the aggregator. "The continuation of cooperation will accelerate the transition of public and commercial organizations to domestic software. In addition, we will jointly implement socially significant projects using advanced technologies," said Gleb Nikitin. The Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region noted that the field of education is one of the most important areas for further development of cooperation, including in the training of IT specialists. "Many schoolchildren in the Nizhny Novgorod Region are already participating in educational projects of '1C' and are showing high results. Joint practices of various educational programs have been established in the region's universities. We are ready to expand our cooperation with the region, providing future specialists with the opportunity to touch the world of information technology, laying the foundation for successful development in the profession," emphasized Boris Nuraliev. The agreement will allow different categories of students to access quality verified digital educational content and digital educational services.
