May 19, 2026 11:55 Society Students of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management of the Presidential Academy participated in the first module of the flagship program "Living and Creating in Russia" of the All-Russian student project "Your Move," which is part of the Presidential platform "Russia - a Country of Opportunities" and is implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the national project "Youth and Children."

Denis Ashirov, Deputy Head of Rosmolodezh, addressed the module participants via video link.

"Living and Creating in Russia" is a unique flagship program for gaining knowledge, experience, and, most importantly, for open dialogue and communication. It is important for us to form a unified student community that will work, communicate, befriend, create something new, and develop our country together. The Russian government has formed a large national project "Youth and Children," aimed at providing young people with all opportunities for self-realization. This is a priority national goal," he noted.

The event took place at the Saratov State Technical University named after Yu.A. Gagarin and brought together over 180 students from universities in the Volga Federal District. The students explored career opportunities in youth policy, developed goal-setting skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork abilities.

"The Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management prepares leaders, and I am glad that our students actively participate in such projects. The educational program 'Living and Creating in Russia' is aimed at preparing leaders of the student community, conduits of youth policy meanings, as well as preserving and strengthening traditional Russian spiritual and moral values," said the director of the NIU Presidential Academy, Ekaterina Lebedeva.

Over four days, participants discussed life, values, and reflection, mastered leadership tools, learned to work in teams, and found internal supports for creating projects in their native region and country. As part of the module, students traversed a route of 12 km through Sokolovaya Mountain. On the final day, students participated in the session "My Goal."

"The first module of the program 'Living and Creating in Russia' has become the most valuable event for me recently. Now I am diligently completing inter-module assignments and dreaming of going to Mashuk," shared NIU student Nikita Ryabinin.
