      On May 18, 2026, at 18:49 Society Schoolchildren in the Nizhny Novgorod region will gain access to the licensed editor "R7 Office" for home use thanks to a cooperation agreement between the regional government and JSC "R7". The agreement was signed by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, secretary of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party Gleb Nikitin, and the general director of JSC "R7" Evgeny Shelkovnikov during the conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" ("CIPR") on May 18, 2026. The document provides for the creation of the necessary conditions for the popularization and development of domestic software. "R7 Office" is a Russian product for collaboration and communication, including the use of AI. The solution allows users to work with documents, communicate, and manage processes without switching between services. It combines everything necessary for work and study: from document, spreadsheet, and presentation editors to corporate email and the ability to organize video conferences. "The program is not just domestic; it is a product of our Nizhny Novgorod developers. Last year, it was recognized as the best platform solution within the framework of the National Award. The award was presented personally by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko. The software fully meets the state's request for import substitution, for which we express our immense gratitude to our professionals," noted Gleb Nikitin. The software suite is compatible with both Russian and foreign operating systems, which is especially important for the confident technological development of the country. The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation has included this product in the Register of domestic software for use in large Russian companies and federal authorities.
