      The bookmaker company PARI commented on the information regarding a possible name change for the football club "Pari Nizhny Novgorod" after its relegation from the Russian Premier League.

      Recall that the day before, "Pari NN" was unable to defeat Kazan's "Rubin." The draw in the match did not allow the club to rise above 15th place in the table. As a result of the championship, the club left the elite division along with "Sochi."

      Earlier, insider Sergey Ilyev stated that the team might abandon its current name and return to the option "Nizhny Novgorod." According to him, against the backdrop of tightening tax policies, bookmaker companies are cutting advertising expenses, and in the First League, the volume of sponsorship support for the club may be significantly reduced. Allegedly, in such a case, the discussion would no longer be about naming.

      The bookmaker's press service denied these rumors.

      "At the moment, the information disseminated in a number of media outlets about a possible name change for the football club 'Pari NN' is not true. PARI, as before, fulfills its obligations to the club. We initially viewed this partnership not only as title sponsorship of the football team but also as long-term support for the region, fans, and local initiatives.
