"We failed the season": The General Director of "Pari NN" on the club's relegation from the RPL

      The general director of "Pari Nizhny Novgorod," Vitaly Karasev, summarized the team's performance after the match of the 30th round of the Russian Premier League.

      Recall that on May 17, the Nizhny Novgorod team drew with "Rubin" in Kazan. This result did not allow the club to rise higher in the table. As a result of the championship, "Pari NN" left the elite division along with "Sochi."

      "We failed not just today's game... we must admit that we failed the season. The responsibility for this lies with everyone: the coaches, the players, and the club's management, but first and foremost - with me," Karasev wrote on his Telegram channel.

      The general director thanked the fans who continued to support the team despite the failures.

      "I want to express my gratitude to the people who traveled to away games, came in the cold, supported the team even when we did not give reasons for pride. You deserved a different result," he emphasized.

      Karasev also commented on the discussions surrounding the club's future.

      "Right now, there is a lot of anxiety and talk about the future of the club. I will not make empty promises. In the coming days, we will provide information on how the club can continue to exist," the official stated.

      At the same time, he emphasized that the football history of Nizhny Novgorod should not be interrupted.

      "But whatever happens, the history of football in Nizhny Novgorod must not disappear. I know this for sure. This city deserves its team. Thank you to those who stayed with us until the end. Today, you are the main thing that the club has," Karasev added.
