The hot air balloon festival "Sky Fairy Tale" will take place in Semyonov from May 28 to May 31.

      On May 16, 2026, at 14:41 Culture and Leisure From May 28 to 31, the "Heavenly Fairy Tale" ballooning festival will take place in Semyonovo. The main event of the festival will be the championship of the Volga Federal District in ballooning sports, featuring 15 pilots from various regions of the Volga Federal District.

      As reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Tourism, the sporting flights will be conducted in the morning at dawn. Evening tourist flights will be organized for festival guests, starting before sunset.

      The most spectacular moment of the festival will be the night glow of the balloons. If the weather is favorable, this event will take place on May 31 at the main stadium of Semyonovo. Admission for spectators will be free.

      The festival organizers warn that the launch sites for the balloons will change daily depending on weather conditions. The starting points will be promptly published on social media.
