The delegation of the Lipetsk region studied the experience of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      From May 14 to 15, a delegation from the Lipetsk region was on a working visit to the Nizhny Novgorod region. The trip was dedicated to studying the best practices in healthcare and social services development. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Governor of the Lipetsk region, Olga Beloglazova. It included the region's Minister of Health, Lilia Samoshina, specialists from the relevant department, and representatives from the Ministry of Social Policy.

      At the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the parties discussed the implementation of national projects "Sustained and Active Life" and "Family." Representatives of OGUП "Lipetskpharmacy" visited the State Enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pharmacy," where they were introduced to the systems for accounting and storage of medications, the organization of connections between "warehouse - pharmacy" and "warehouse - hospital," as well as the work of the quality control center.

      At the Medical Information and Analytical Center, the delegation was informed about the digitalization of healthcare, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, and the transition to electronic document management. The guests also familiarized themselves with the work of City Polyclinic No. 4 and hospitals participating in the "City of Health" and "Health Quarter" projects, including the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko, the N.N. Blokhin Nizhny Novgorod Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary, the Specialized Cardiac Surgery Clinical Hospital named after Academician B.A. Korolev, and the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.

      The projects are being implemented on the initiative of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, and are aimed at developing hospital territories and increasing the availability of high-tech medical care. The region is also implementing the "Family Quarter" project, aimed at improving reproductive health and increasing birth rates.

      At the ANO "Institute of Demographic Development," the delegation was presented with services in the field of demographics and measures of non-financial support for families. Special attention was paid to the "Emergency Demographic Assistance" program, which includes a hotline and the chat-bot "Save.rf" for consultations with psychologists, lawyers, and social work specialists.

      The guests visited the ANO "Resource Center 'Children in the Family'," which coordinates the prevention of social orphanhood, as well as the Ministry of Social Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Social Development Center. In Dzerzhinsk, the delegation was introduced to the work of the Social Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Persons and Combat Veterans "Vityaz."

      The results of the visit were summarized by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Andrey Checherin, who noted the importance of interregional experience exchange in the field of healthcare and social policy.
