      On May 15, 2026, at 14:55, Incidents: In Dzerzhinsk, the director of an autonomous non-profit organization will stand trial. He is accused of providing services that do not meet safety requirements for the life and health of consumers, which negligently led to the death of a child. This was reported by the press service of the regional Investigative Committee.

      According to the investigation, on June 20, 2025, during a gathering for children from a sports section in the forest area of Dzerzhinsk, a car driver ran over an 8-year-old boy. A verdict had previously been issued against the driver. The child sustained severe injuries and died in a medical facility.

      The investigation believes that the tragedy was made possible due to the improper performance of duties by the organization's director. According to their version, the director did not ensure an adequate level of safety during the gathering, did not involve staff who were supposed to supervise the children, and did not conduct safety briefings.

      The investigator has gathered sufficient evidence confirming the accused's involvement in the alleged crime. The criminal case with an approved indictment has been sent to court for substantive consideration.

      Recall that in March, a verdict was issued against the driver of a passenger car who did not notice the child and ran over him. He was sentenced to 1 year and 10 months of compulsory labor.
