      The goalkeeper of "Pari Nizhny Novgorod," Nikita Medvedev, has been fined for unsportsmanlike conduct. This decision was made by the Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFS), as reported by the club's general director, Vitaly Karasev, on his Telegram channel. According to insider information, the fine amounted to 300,000 rubles. The incident occurred on May 11 during a match against CSKA, which the Nizhny Novgorod team lost 1:2. After the second goal conceded, Medvedev turned to the stands where fans had unfurled banners in support of the former head coach of the team, Alexey Shpilevsky, with the inscription "Our coach! We are with you." What he saw provoked a sharp emotional reaction from the goalkeeper. He allowed himself to make obscene remarks towards the fans and stated that it was the former coach who brought the team to its current position. Medvedev also added that those who support Shpilevsky should cheer for him separately. In the mixed zone, the player refused to communicate with journalists and stated that such fans were not welcome at the stadium. Later, the club's general director, Vitaly Karasev, apologized for the captain's words, noting that the player was overwhelmed with emotions. The RFS Disciplinary Committee took an interest in the incident and summoned Medvedev to a meeting. As a result of the investigation, he was fined but avoided a suspension. The day before the decision was made, the goalkeeper publicly apologized to the fans. As a step towards reconciliation, Medvedev invited the fans to the final match of the championship in Kazan and promised to personally pay for the bus for the trip.
