The "Botanica" festival in Nizhny Novgorod has been canceled due to a lack of funds.

This was announced by the event organizers on social media. "Botanica" is an annual festival dedicated to nature, art, and creativity, traditionally held in the summer at the Alexander Garden. The event is an author's project, and according to the team, it has become increasingly difficult to find funding each year.

      You may remember that "Botanica" has already gone through pauses. There were years when it came to a standstill, but then—through some unknown means, through force, through "impossible"—a ray of hope would appear, the team would gather again, opportunities and resources would come together, and we would meet with you once more, the organizers reminded.

      The festival team explained that they hesitated for a long time to announce the cancellation of the event, as they were looking for options, believing in the best, and choosing the right words.

      We are not saying goodbye; we are saying, "See you soon." Because "Botanica" is not about money and not about dates on a calendar. "Botanica" is about the state of the soul, art, love for nature, creativity in all its manifestations, and like-minded people, the organizers are convinced.
