For this purpose, a municipal segment of the regional automated centralized warning system (RASCO) has been launched in the city. Mobile operators are already connected to the messaging service, the city’s emergency management department reported, as conveyed by GTRK "Nizhny Novgorod".
The alerts will occur automatically: upon receiving special commands from emergency services, the system will send SMS messages and activate sirens in the city. The alert scenarios have been prepared in advance and loaded into the database, allowing for a quick response to threat signals.
