The master plan of Nizhny Novgorod is set to be changed for the new building of Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University.

      On May 5, 2026, at 17:08 Society In the General Plan of Nizhny Novgorod, changes are planned to be made for the construction of a building for Minin University. The draft amendment was presented by the city administration for public discussions, which took place from April 24 to May 4.

      The discussion concerns a plot of land in the area of the former "Nizhpoligraf" complex located at Varvarskaya Street, 32. It is proposed to allocate 1,550 square meters for the building. The area of the building itself may be about 10,000 square meters, with a height ranging from five to ten floors.

      To implement the project, it is necessary to change the functional zone to that of educational institutions. The initiative for the amendment was put forward by the autonomous non-profit organization "Center for Education Development and Personnel Training 'Park of Masters Nizhpoligraf'".
