      On May 5, 2026, at 13:37, the Chkalov Airport in Nizhny Novgorod began to accept and send flights in coordination with the competent authorities. This was reported by Rosaviation.

      Recall that around midnight on May 5, restrictions on the use of airspace were imposed regarding the port. According to the airport's online scoreboard, seven flights are currently delayed: to Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Orenburg.

      In addition, one flight to the northern capital, which was supposed to take place on May 4 at 20:30 and was subsequently postponed to May 5 at 01:00, has been canceled. Passengers will be directed to Pulkovo Airport after the restrictions are lifted by other flights.
