The head of GUMMID, Anatoly Ageev, has had his arrest extended following the death of a teenager.

This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the press service of the regional court. The decision was made by the Moscow District Court. The preventive measure has been extended until July 5, 2026, inclusive. Currently, the ruling has not entered into legal force. Recall that Anatoly Ageev is accused of negligence that led to the death of a 13-year-old teenager in Sormovo. The tragedy occurred on March 6. The teenagers broke into an abandoned building on Stationnaya Street, where the roof collapsed on them. According to the investigation, the improper performance of duties by the management of the municipal institution responsible for ensuring safety requirements at the site before its demolition could have led to the tragedy.
