The fire caused serious material damage, estimated at 38.5 million rubles. According to the regional prosecutor's office, the man is charged under Article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - destruction of property due to careless handling of fire. The investigation believes that the fire broke out during the modification of a vehicle. The accused attempted to melt the fringe of the seatbelt with a lighter, which led to the ignition of the vehicle. The fire spread quickly: a hangar and an administrative building were damaged, and six Gazelle Next vehicles were completely burned. The damage was inflicted on six business entities. By the time the investigation was completed, the man had partially compensated for the losses, voluntarily paying 11.4 million rubles.
