"Lessons of Courage" from Sber will tell about the feats of young heroes during the Great Patriotic War.

On May 4, 2026, at 14:22 Society An interactive project by Sber about four Heroes of the Soviet Union will unite adults and children in preserving memory through technology. For Victory Day, Sber has prepared an interactive project "Lessons of Courage" about four Heroes of the Soviet Union, who were between 13 and 17 years old. Using the examples of heroes from the Great Patriotic War, contemporaries will learn about the feats that brought closer the Day of Victory.

The viewing begins with the selection of one of the four young heroes on the project website: the youngest scout Valya Kotik, who tracked down the enemy's underground cable and interrupted the fascists' communication with their headquarters; Lara Mikheyenko - a partisan scout, who, disguised as a beggar and shepherd, learned the location of firing points and the number of enemy garrisons; Arkadiy Kamanin - the youngest pilot of the war, who landed his U-2 under fire, picked up an injured comrade and secret photographs, and took off, escaping from a fascist tank. Or learn about the feat of Lyonya Golikov - a partisan scout, who, together with his partner, blew up the car of an enemy general, obtained a briefcase with secret mine blueprints and field diagrams, thus saving the lives of hundreds of Soviet soldiers. After selecting a hero, the user goes through the story: sees the forest, the dugout, the enemy patrol, the headquarters, and the road. At key moments, there is a choice - how to act, and one can make a historical decision or an alternative one. When choosing an alternative path, the user will receive an explanation of what actually happened and what courage means. In the end, everyone will see brief information about the hero, and more about the hero's fate will be told by the AI assistant GigaChat - you just need to click the button, go to the web version to learn more facts about the hero. The project is also included in the materials of the extracurricular course "Conversations about Important Things," complementing the lesson from the cycle "Songs about War. For Victory Day." The stories of the young heroes resonate particularly importantly and understandably for modern schoolchildren, helping them see in the past not abstract events, but the choices and responsibilities of their peers. For 185 years, Sber has been inextricably linked with the history of the country. Today, using modern technologies, it carefully preserves the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War for future generations. The project "Lessons of Courage" appeals to the heart of every person through personal choice and respect for the feat, uniting the heroic past and modern opportunities. 6+ NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
