      May 3, 2026 08:04 Incidents In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a drone attack was thwarted during the night hours. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The agency did not specify the exact number of drones destroyed in the region but provided overall data for the country. A total of 334 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type were shot down by air defense systems on the night of May 3. They were destroyed over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Oryol, Pskov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tver, Tula regions, as well as in the Moscow region and the Republic of Crimea.
