One bridge and part of the highway have cleared of water in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On April 29, 2026, at 17:14, Society reported a decrease in water levels in several areas of the Nizhny Novgorod region on April 29, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

      In the past 24 hours, one low-water bridge in the village of Sobolevo in the Gaginsky district and a section of the highway from Rabotki to Poretskoye in the Sechenovsky district have been freed from water.

      As of today, the flood situation remains in 12 municipalities.

      The areas still affected by flooding include the city district of Nizhny Novgorod (Kstovsky district), and the municipal districts of Bor, Navashinsky, Semyonovsky, Voskresensky, Volodarsky, Gaginsky, Pavlovsky, Pochinkovsky, Sergachsky, Uren and Krasnobakovsky.

      A total of 61 household plots, nine low-water bridges, and five sections of highways remain flooded in the region.
