In Volodarsk, the construction of two new schools has begun.

      On April 29, 2026, at 09:33, Society In the Volodarsky district, the construction of new educational institutions has been launched, with time capsules laid at the sites of future facilities. This includes a school for 500 students and a children's art school designed for 150 people. This was reported by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, on his MAX channel.

      The emergence of a new educational center will allow for the abandonment of two buildings of school No. 1. Students will be able to move to a modern building with spacious classrooms that fully meet current requirements. Special emphasis will be placed on creating an accessible environment for children with disabilities.

      The regional head noted that an increase in the number of schoolchildren is expected in Volodarsk. This growth is linked to the development of the light industry in the municipality. According to him, the construction of the general education school will be implemented within the framework of the "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas" program.

      The project for the children's art school is being realized under the national project "Family." A separate building will be constructed in the district, initially designed for creative education. It will accommodate 150 students and include specialized rooms for music, visual arts, and choreography classes, as well as a full-fledged concert hall.

      As in the new general education school, the art institution will provide all conditions for the comfortable education of children with disabilities.
