In Bogorodsk, the major renovation of polyclinic No. 2 has been completed.
In Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod region, the major renovation of polyclinic No. 2, located on the first floor of a residential building, has been completed. The institution serves nearly 10,000 adult patients, including residents of the city and rural areas attached to the Arapovsky, Shvarikinsky, and Ushakovsky paramedic and obstetric points. The work was carried out as part of the "Modernization of Primary Healthcare" program of the national project "Sustained and Active Life." More than 26 million rubles were allocated from federal and regional budgets for repairs and the purchase of new medical furniture.
Five therapeutic areas have been established in the polyclinic. During the renovation, patient reception was organized at polyclinic No. 1, providing full assistance without interruption in the primary healthcare sector. The building has been updated with new interior finishes, window and door blocks have been replaced, and the entrance group has been modernized. Electrical installation work has been carried out with wiring replacement, and new lighting fixtures and sockets have been installed. The automatic fire alarm and notification system has been completely updated. Additionally, the water supply, sewage, and heating systems have been modernized, and a heat energy accounting unit has been installed.
The updated polyclinic features a physiotherapy room, massage and therapeutic exercise rooms, a medical prevention room, a functional diagnostics room (ECG), a treatment room with the capability for venous blood sampling, and an emergency care room. A day hospital department with several therapeutic beds has been established.
The chief physician of the Bogorodsk Central District Hospital, Svetlana Tebekina, noted that during the renovation, the full volume of diagnostic and medical assistance for patients was maintained.
The deputy chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, head of the "United Russia" faction in the regional parliament, Alexey Antonov, emphasized the importance of modernizing primary healthcare for small towns in the region.
The Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that the modernization of medical institutions in the Bogorodsky district continues. The update of the Kamensk medical outpatient clinic and women's consultation is planned to be completed soon.
The national project "Sustained and Active Life" has been implemented since 2025 by order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and includes 11 federal projects, including "Modernization of Primary Healthcare."
