A state of heightened readiness has been introduced on the slope section of Zelensky's descent.

      April 29, 2026 15:48 Society Authorities have introduced a state of heightened readiness in the slope area at the Zelensky descent. The corresponding resolution has been published on the city hall's website. It is noted that the decision was made, among other reasons, "to prevent threats to the life and health of citizens due to the risk of landslides in the slope area adjacent to the main landslide deformation site." The regime came into effect at 18:00 on April 14. The dangerous zone has been defined as the slope area of the Zelensky descent from the side of Pozharsky Street - opposite the passage between houses No. 14 (Sheraton Hotel) and No. 16. The administration of the Nizhny Novgorod district has been instructed to install warning signs, mobilize the necessary forces and resources, and organize constant monitoring of the slope condition at the site of the ground movement. Recall that at the end of March, a landslide occurred at the Zelensky descent. Its consequences were addressed over several days. At that time, there were reports of the likelihood of new ground movements. Recently, information about an alleged new landslide at the Zelensky descent appeared on social media.
