"Rostelecom" opens recruitment for students for the paid internship program.
On April 28, 2026, at 16:32, the company "Rostelecom" began recruiting students for a paid internship with a flexible schedule called "Your First 2.0". This program is starting for the fourth time. In the new season, the geography of internships has expanded: students in their 3rd to 5th years of university and 3rd to 4th years of colleges will be able to gain real work experience in a leading digital company in 80 cities, including Nizhny Novgorod.
The "Your First" program includes 13 profiles for interns: telecommunications, IT, sales, marketing, business process administration, analytics, procurement, management, financial and economic projects, human resources management, law, construction and operation of technical infrastructure, as well as ecology and natural resource management. The internship lasts six months, during which the company signs an employment contract with the students. During this time, interns work on real projects and receive a salary. After the internship, the most successful participants will be able to be employed full-time.
Since its launch in 2023, the "Rostelecom" internship program has received about 40,000 applications across Russia. This figure grows every year: if there were about 6,000 applications in the first year, by 2025, the company's experts reviewed 18,500. As a result of the selection, 225 interns were placed in various departments, of which 72 joined the "Rostelecom" team after completing their internship. At the same time, students highly appreciated the interaction with the company at all stages—from the beginning of communications to adaptation. The eNPS (employee satisfaction index) among program participants was 8.8.

"Today, the labor market requires new approaches to hiring—business is increasingly focused on developing loyal employees who understand the company's specifics. In this context, the 'Your First' internship has become a full-fledged platform for developing a new generation of leaders in the technology sector. We have expanded the opportunities for participants: instead of completing one task, interns gain cross-functional experience that contributes to their growth. We have also revamped the feedback mechanisms, making the program more transparent for all participants. As a result, the conversion to full-time employment has increased: by the end of 2025, it reached 32%. These changes have become part of our efforts to renew the positioning of 'Rostelecom' as a modern employer and practically embody our new slogan—'You influence the course of events.'"
