      April 28, 2026 15:28 Incidents A rabies quarantine has been established in two settlements of the Pochinkovsky district. Documents are posted on the official portal of legal acts. Animals infected with the dangerous disease were found in the village of Naruksovo. Earlier in April, they were identified in the village of Pochinki. The territories of personal subsidiary farms have been recognized as an epizootic focus. The Veterinary Committee of the Nizhny Novgorod Region will be responsible for the development and approval of the action plan to eliminate the rabies outbreak. Currently, the movement, import, export, and treatment of animals, as well as hunting and skinning, are prohibited in these villages. Unauthorized persons are not allowed to visit the foci, and local residents are prohibited from organizing fairs, exhibitions, and other events where animals may gather.
