Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" has extended contracts with four players.

      April 27, 2026 19:07 SportNizhny Novgorod "Torpedo" extended agreements with four young players. New one-year two-way contracts were signed by defenders Arseniy Varlakov and Alexander Pelevin, as well as forwards Ruslan Gazizov and Artem Misnikov, the club's press service reported.

      Most of the 2025/2026 season, the hockey players spent with the farm club "Torpedo-Gorky," which competes in the All-Russian Hockey League.

      The club emphasized that the athletes consistently demonstrate a high level of play and are among the leaders in their positions in VHL matches. Additionally, they are regularly involved in the training process and games of the main team in the KHL.

      Arseniy Varlakov played 49 matches for "Torpedo-Gorky" this season and scored 19 points in the "goal+assist" system. He also played eight games for the main team, contributing two assists.

      Alexander Pelevin participated in 50 matches for the farm club and recorded 11 points. He played once for "Torpedo" in the KHL.

      Ruslan Gazizov played 64 matches in the VHL and scored 36 points. In one match, he represented the KHL team.

      Artem Misnikov played 38 games for the farm club, finishing the season with 17 points.

      It was previously reported that "Torpedo-Gorky" may cease to exist this year due to a lack of funding.

      General Director of "Torpedo" Evgeny Zabuga previously explained the principle by which the team's roster will be formed for the next season.
