The second stage of the reconstruction of the approach to Ankundinovka has reached 40%.

      As part of the second stage of the reconstruction of the road "Access to the village of Ankudinovka from the Eastern access road to Nizhny Novgorod," work has already been completed by 40%. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Automobile Roads of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The length of the second stage of reconstruction is 1,260 meters. The project includes the construction of a bridge over the river Stark with a length of 31.1 meters. Currently, the installation of bank supports has been completed, and the beams of the span structure have been installed. Work continues on reinforcement, the installation of temporary structures for concreting spans, and the planning of slopes. The reconstructed section belongs to the category of a regional main street. The project provides for four traffic lanes, with a calculated speed of 70 km/h. The work is being carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." "The work on the second stage is on schedule and is expected to be completed in the fall of next year. The complete reconstruction of the access road to the village of Ankudinovka will not only improve comfort and safety for local residents but also significantly relieve the adjacent road network. This is one of the significant projects that we are implementing as part of the development of transport infrastructure," noted Leonid Samukhin, director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "GUAD."

      Let us remind you that the first stage of reconstruction, with a length of 872.6 meters and a bridge over the river Rakhma with a length of 41.1 meters, has been successfully completed — in December 2024, permission was obtained to put the facility into operation. The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The structure of the new national project includes 12 federal projects. Of these, five are being implemented in the part of the Ministry of Transport of Russia: "Development of the federal network," "Regional and local road network," "General measures for the development of the road economy," "Development of public transport," and "Development of infrastructure for the Central transport hub." The activities of the national project are aimed at improving the condition of highways and main roads in the regions of the country and significantly increasing road safety.
